Aaron Rodgers, Packers teammates celebrated Halloween in costume at Terror on the Fox

Aaron Rodgers' inspiration for his 2022 Halloween costume came from one of his favorite TV shows, "The Office."

Last year, Aaron Rodgers grew his hair out for his Halloween costume. This year, he ditched the beard for it.

A clean-shaven Aaron Rodgers showed up on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday and revealed who he dressed up as for a Green Bay Packers players party on Monday night at Terror on the Fox in Ashwaubenon.

Maybe hold the big, dramatic drum roll from last year.

"It wasn't a great outfit," he said, before sharing it.

“I was Jim from ‘The Office’ as Dave."

Rodgers went to considerably less trouble this year than last, when he did a detailed Keanu Reeves as John Wick, by taking a page from one of his all-time favorite TV shows. Like Jim Halpert (played by John Krasinski) did on “The Office” in Season 5’s “Employee Transfer” episode, he just showed up in regular office attire for Halloween and wore a “Hello My Name is Dave” name tag. It was just another of the character's minimalist “no outfit outfits" he was known for on the Halloween episodes.

Rodgers didn't post any photos of himself from the party on his social media, but wide receiver Randall Cobb's wife Aiyda shared numerous shots from the night in an Instagram story, including a photo of Rodgers in costume with a cigar on the haunted train that takes visitors to Terror on the Fox haunted house.

Not all of his teammates got his costume this year, Rodgers said, but he’s used to that.

“It doesn’t matter really, other than maybe last year, over all the years where I’ve had a costume, it was about the same. About three people knew what I was,” Rodgers said. “About half the people thought I was myself in the future as a nonplayer, what my daily garb was going to be.”

In recent years, Rodgers dressed up as the title character from Wes Anderson's “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou” and Uncle Rico from "Napoleon Dynamite" − not exactly Hollywood blockbusters.

He gave a rundown of some of the costume highlights from what others were wearing at this year’s Packers party, which he said was just for players and no kids.

Tight end Josiah Deguara and fiancée Ashton Boyd went as Violet Beauregarde and Willy Wonka, respectively, from “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.” He shared photos in an Instagram story.

Center Josh Myers and his girlfriend went as bunches of grapes − she purple and he green. Rodgers said they were the “most fun duo” of the night.

Punter Pat O’Donnell got a spray tan so he and his wife Shelby could go as Ken and Barbie.

Left tackle David Bakhtiari and his wife Frankie, who are expecting their first child, went as the milkman and the housewife, with a video on his Instagram story.

Quarterback Danny Etling and his girlfriend went as Goose and Maverick from “Top Gun.”

Offensive lineman Royce Newman went as Jesus and his girlfriend as Mary Magdalene.

Rodgers and tight end Robert Tonyan got some laughs doing their own scaring from behind the walls at Terror on the Fox. Shelby O’Donnell and Aiyda Cobb proved particularly fun targets.

“Those are two of the easiest people in the world to scare, we found out," Rodgers said.
