Clubhouse Live livestream replay: Packers legend Jerry Kramer tells tales, shares laughs in memorable visit

Green Bay Packers legend Jerry Kramer appears on the Sept. 10, 2012, episode of Clubhouse Live. The show was held at The Clubhouse Sports Pub & Grill in downtown Appleton.

You know Jerry Kramer as the legendary right guard of the Vince Lombardi-led Green Bay Packers, a master storyteller, an ambassador of all that’s green and gold and, of course, a Pro Football Hall of Famer.

To those of us associated with Clubhouse Live, he’s all of the above – and a great friend of the show.

Kramer made two memorable appearances on Clubhouse Live. The first was during the 2010 season and the second was on Sept. 10, 2012. Both stuffed the Clubhouse Sports Pub & Grill in downtown Appleton with pumped-up Packers fans who laughed and cheered at Kramer’s many quips and sat transfixed as he told one Lombardi tale after another.

Kramer’s 2012 visit came a day following the Packers’ 30-22 season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers – a contest that saw Green Bay surrender 186 rushing yards and 377 yards overall.

Hey Jerry, what would the fiery Lombardi have said to the guys after such a performance?

“Well, you know what he’d say,” Kramer said as we all awaited the expected punchline. “‘What the hell is going on out there?!’”

It was set up for Kramer on a tee. He crushed it. And the crowd loved it.
