GREEN BAY PACKERS

Twitter reacts to a shocking finish in the Green Bay Packers' game vs. Arizona Cardinals

Rasul Douglas's interception (and a puzzling surrender on the play by receiver A.J. Green) in the end zone capped a crazy Thursday Night Football game in Arizona on Thursday, and the Packers escaped with an uplifting 24-21 victory to improve to 7-1

Not counting the many "Ghostbusters" references (there is only 'Sul ... like Zuul, get it? Tell me you've at least seen the meme if not the 1984 comedy classic), Twitter offered some pretty great reaction.

Some of the best included an entry from Davante Adams, who wasn't available to play in the game because of COVID-19 protocols. Another good one came from ... dare we say, the New England Patriots, who themselves benefited from an interception in the end zone when they won Super Bowl XLIX in that same venue, State Farm Stadium.

As a sidebar, the man who threw that ill-fated pass had good things to say about one of the Packers.

That's a reference to another famous receiver miscue in the end zone, when Yancey Thigpen of Pittsburgh dropped a pass that gave the Packers the division title on Christmas Eve of 1995.

The win, by the way, meant there were no more undefeated teams in the NFL this season. The 1972 Dolphins remain the only team to complete the perfect season.
