The Green Bay Packers enter the 2021 NFL draft with 10 picks, including their own selection in each of the seven rounds, plus three compensatory picks.

DATES, TIMES: This year the draft was held in Cleveland on April 29-May 1.

NFL DRAFT PICKS: Our updated list of all teams' selections by round.

PACKERS' PICKS: A look at Green Bay's 10 picks by round.

Round 1: No. 29 overall

THE PICK: Eric Stokes, defensive back, Georgia

Georgia defensive back Eric Stokes returns an interception against Missouri on Dec. 12, 2020.

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: "Stokes is 6-0½, 194 pounds. He has started 25 of 36 games in three seasons. He had all four of his interceptions as a senior, two of them returned for TDs. Second-team all-ACC. He runs an incredible 4.29 40-yard dash and has a 38½-inch vertical jump. Benched 14 reps. Stokes is kind of a track guy, but he's supposed to be smart and able to play press-man coverage. He's a premier athlete. He gave up just three TDs in the last three seasons. and was really good last year. He only started for two seasons at Georgia, but he competed regularly against those Alabama receivers and won't be overmatched going to the NFL. Could be stronger, but at 194 he'll continue to get bigger."

PACKERSNEWS ANALYSIS: The Packers stayed put at No. 29 and selected cornerback Eric Stokes from Georgia. Corner was an area of need heading into this offseason even after re-signing Kevin King. Stokes should be able to fight to be the nickel corner behind King and the All-Pro Jaire Alexander.

USA TODAY ANALYSIS: No receiver here for Rodgers, who gets to further stew in his apparent unhappiness. Stokes blazed a 4.25 40 at his pro day and, despite some raw elements to his game, might soon be gunning for CB Kevin King's job after the veteran's disastrous performance in the NFC championship game.

Round 2: No. 62 overall

THE PICK: Josh Myers, center, Ohio St.

Ohio State center Josh Myers signals at the line of scrimmage against Clemson in the 2019 Fiesta Bowl.

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: Myers is 6-5¼, 310 pounds. He is a big strong guy like (Corey) Linsley. Much taller but he should be able to play some guard if they need him. He did have turf toe surgery in January but is expected to be ready for camp. He's got a strong upper body and is tough in the run game. I think pass blocking will be something that will require some work. But he can move in the zone game and I'm sure they like him with the emphasis on running the ball.

USA TODAY: The Pack lost All-Pro C Corey Linsley, another Buckeye, in free agency to the Chargers. Myers should slide into this spot to deliver snaps to Aaron Rodgers ... presumably.

Round 3: No. 85 overall

THE PICK: Amari Rodgers, wide receiver, Clemson

Clemson wide receiver Amari Rodgers runs for a touchdown against Boston College on Oct. 26, 2019.

TRADE: The Packers moved up in the third round in a deal with the Tennessee Titans for Clemson WR Amari Rodgers. The Packers gave up one of their fourth-round picks, No. 135, plus their third-round pick, No. 92.

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: He's 5-9½, 212 pounds and runs a 4.51 40-yard dash. He has a 33-inch vertical and benched 225 pounds 19 times. He has good size hands and he's ultra productive. His dad is former Tennessee QB Tee Martin. Rodgers started 37 of 55 games at Clemson and caught 181 passes for 2,144 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was a productive punt returner, too. He had 70 punt returns for 529 yards and a touchdown. He's not a guy you're going to line up outside and expect him to win, but he can line up in the slot or the backfield and he can run after the catch.

USA TODAY: Perhaps in an olive branch move, Green Bay takes Lawrence's slot guy from Clemson ... setting up a potential Rodgers-to-Rodgers connection. Amari Rodgers is a shifty 5-10 and 212 pounds and piled up 77 grabs for 1,020 yards and seven TDs in 2020. Could feast opposite a double-covered Davante Adams.

Round 4: No. 142 overall

The Pick: Royce Newman, offensive lineman, Ole Miss

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: Once again, versatility wins out. He's a two-year starter who played 12 games at left guard and 10 at right tackle. Played in Lane Kiffin's spread offense. He's a guy who will have to keep working in the weight room, but he's got some potential. He can also play center. Another guy with shorter arms who probably ends up at guard. He's 24 years old.

PACKERSNEWS ANALYSIS: Depth along the offensive line is always important and Newman has experience playing both tackle and guard in college.

Round 5: No. 173 overall

The Pick: Tedarrell Slaton, defensive tackle, Florida

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: Slaton is 6-4, 330 pounds. He's got a large wing span and ran a 5.08 40-yard dash. He benched 225 pounds 27 times. He tipped the scales at 380 pounds during his time, but he was able to get his weight down and will need to be monitored. He started just one season. This is a guy they can plug in the middle and believe he'll stop the run.

PACKERSNEWS ANALYSIS: Slaton figures to provide depth at defensive tackle behind Kenny Clark and Kingsley Keke. Started one season for the Gators.

Round 5: No. 178 overall

THE PICK: Shemar Jean-Charles, cornerback, Appalachian State

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.51 seconds. He has a 35-inch vertical and benched 225 pounds 19 times. He redshirted as a freshman and started 25 of 50 games played. He was a starter his last two seasons and had two interceptions. He led FBS in passes broken up last year. He's pretty strong for a corner, he just doesn't have great speed or a huge frame.

PACKERSNEWS ANALYSIS: After taking Eric Stokes in the first round on Thursday, the Packers add more depth to the cornerback room. Was a semifinalist for the Bednarik and Thorpe Awards.

Round 6: No. 214 overall

THE PICK: Cole Van Lanen, offensive lineman, Wisconsin

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: Van Lanen was a first-time all-Big Ten selection at left tackle this season, playing in five of seven games. He's 6-4¼, 305 pounds, has a 78½-inch wing span, 9¾-inch hands, logged a 30-inch vertical jump and benched 225 pounds, 22 times. There are a lot of teams that would slide him to guard, but the Packers love taking guys who can play tackle and guard and will give them the chance to do so. Any Wisconsin linemen will come in ready to run block.

PACKERSNEWS ANALYSIS: Van Lanen, the Green Bay native and Bay Port alum, will add depth to the offensive line at either guard or tackle. He's the third offensive lineman the Packers drafted in 2021.

Round 6: No. 220 overall

THE PICK: Isaiah McDuffie, linebacker, Boston College

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: McDuffie is 6-1, 227 pounds. He started 20 of 40 games missing four games in '19 with a knee injury. He runs the 40 in an impressive 4.58 seconds and lifted 225 pounds 25 times. He had knee surgery as a junior but returned to play in all the games in 2020 and lead the team in tackling. He's not very big, but he's probably wired right for special teams given his speed and aggressiveness on the field.

PACKERSNEWS ANALYSIS: The inside linebacker could provide depth at an area of need for the Packers. McDuffie is very athletic and has demonstrated a quick burst.

Round 7: No. 256 overall

THE PICK: Kylin Hill, running back, Mississippi State

QUICK TAKE FROM TOM SILVERSTEIN: Hill is 5-10½, 214 pounds. He's got a 36-inch vertical and benched 225 pounds 22 times. He's power runner who likes contact and doesn't fumble. In 2019, he rushed 242 times for 1,350 yards and 10 touchdowns and caught 18 passes for 180 yards and a TD. He only played three games in '20. He was suspended for one game and then opted out. He finished 15 carries for 58 yards and 23 catches for 237 yards and a TD. Hill played for three different coaches and apparently had a flare up with the new staff this year, leading to the suspension and him opting out.

PACKERSNEWS ANALYSIS: With Jamaal Williams leaving in free agency to join the Detroit Lions, Hill could slot in at the No. 3 running back job behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Hill has demonstrated strong ball security, fumbling just once in 481 career touches.
