Downtown Green Bay to host Packers pep rally ahead of team's playoff game

GREEN BAY - The Packers are back in the playoffs for the first time in three years.

You know what that means, Green Bay: It's time to have some fun. 

Downtown Green Bay will host a pep rally for the Packers on Jan. 10, two days before the team's first playoff game against an opponent yet to be determined. The rally, scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m., will take place at the Packers Heritage Trail Plaza on the corner of North Washington and Cherry streets.

The Green Bay Preble High School drumline and University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix cheer squad will be among the day's entertainers.
