The talented passing combination of halfback Cecil Isbell (left) and end Don Hutson of the Green Bay Packers caused the Chicago Bears plenty of trouble when the two teams met on Sunday, Dec. 14, 1941, in Chicago for the Western Division Playoff of the National Professional Football League.  The two conditioned themselves for any weather as they practiced their famous tricks on a snow covered field at Green Bay.

The scene at Lambeau Field resembled a page out of the past as the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings stood out on a snow-covered field. More than 50,000 spectators bundled up against the elements and watched the Packers go down to their ninth defeat of the season, losing, 13-6 to the Vikings, in 1977.
